Stainless steel deep groove ball bearings are available in two designs: open or closed (with seal or dust cover). Open bearings can also be equipped with seals or dust covers, and there are usually grooves on the sides of the inner ring. The load carrying capacity of these bearings is lower than that of high chromium steel bearings of the same size.
